Ministry doesn’t always expand by serving more meals. Sometimes it grows by creating another place where people are welcomed, known, and served with dignity.
Earlier this year, through our partnership with WorldFire Church, we were able to take that next step by expanding our meal services to another location on Columbus’ South Side. We praise God for opening this door, allowing us to extend our presence into another part of the community while continuing the same mission that has guided The Bridge from the beginning. This new location has created another space for individuals and families to gather around a shared meal, while also opening new opportunities for volunteers and local churches to serve together.
Since launching at WorldFire, our Thursday meal services have been hosted there, while our Friday and Saturday meals continue at Shiloh Christian Center. Although our locations have expanded, the heart of our ministry remains unchanged. Guests experience the same welcoming environment, and volunteers continue to serve through the familiar rhythm of preparing the space, sharing a brief devotional, serving meals, and building meaningful relationships with those who join us around the table.

We are deeply grateful for both Shiloh Christian Center and WorldFire Church. Their willingness to open their doors and partner with us reflects a shared desire to see Christ’s love demonstrated through the local church. Together, we’re creating spaces where hospitality, encouragement, and genuine relationships can flourish. These partnerships remind us that lasting ministry is strengthened when churches unite around a common mission of serving their neighbors.
No matter where our meals are served, The Bridge remains committed to helping bridge the gap between where people are and where God intends them to be through love, grace, and authentic relationships. A new location doesn’t change our mission—it simply gives that mission another place to be lived out.
We invite you to consider serving alongside others by bringing your small group, business team, or church community to volunteer with us. It’s a meaningful way to serve together, build relationships, and make a tangible impact in the lives of those we welcome each week.
Whether you’ve volunteered with us for years or are looking for a new opportunity to serve, we’d love to have you join us at either location. Together, we can continue creating places where every person is welcomed with dignity, encouraged through community, and reminded that they are deeply loved by God.
