Partnerships are a key aspect of what we do at The Bridge. They allow us to work with other organizations to better serve our community in need. We recently worked with Mission Warmth to provide clothing items directly to the unhoused of Central Ohio. Mission Warmth is a non-profit organization that provides warming items directly to the unhoused of Central Ohio.
About Mission Warmth
They have been serving the unhoused of Central Ohio since early 2015, when the Sub Zero Mission group from Painesville, Ohio came to Columbus to distribute warming items to homeless camps. They’ve aided them each year since by scouting out homeless camps and being their guides on the annual Columbus missions.
After the 2021 Sub Zero Columbus Mission, they were inspired to start our own chapter! They founded our 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in early 2022 and have been working hard to get Mission Warmth up and running. Their mission is to prevent the freezing and injury caused by extreme weather exposure of the unhoused and financially destitute Americans, with a special focus on Military Veterans. Nobody should freeze to death in this great country of ours!
